Watch...who?

You know what really grinds my gears?

This Watchmen movie hype.

I asked two friends, SteveO and thePony to tell me everything they know about Watchmen.
thePony: "I have never even heard of it"
SteveO: "...absolutely nothing"

If you don't know thePony or SteveO, sucks for you, but they usually have a pretty good hold on pop culture.

So apparently Watchmen is a multi-issue comic book series that takes place in an alternate history in the US where the country is edging closer to a nuclear war standard sub par comic book storyline blah blah blah BORING.

I don't know who's in this movie, I hadn't even heard of Watchmen before I started seeing Facebook and Twitter updates, "I can't wait for Watchmen! ahhh scream like a little girl!" It's not like Justin Timberlake is in the movie or anything. That reminds me, WHO is even in this movie? I should do some more research, find out the history of the story, interview Watchmen fanatics, go see the movie? Nah, like I told SteveO, I'm going to waste my $10 on Friday the 13th.
